In Montebenichi, we can find a special giant olive tree named by the CNR “Olivone“, so unique in the world, and affectionately called “Noccolo “by the owner of the land.
To visit what remains of the “Olivone, after the palazzo di Goro you have to continue all straight toward a tuft of tall cypress trees, turn right, then you continue straight forward until you find two huts, here you will find a great field: the olivone is at the bottom of the field.
