Located in the hills of Valdarno Aretino Agriturismo Casa Sesta overlooks a height of six hundred meters on the Arno valley offering its guests one of the most beautiful views of Tuscany.
Ours is a small family business but with a great desire to host, meet new people and share our Tuscany.
In the farm immersed in the vineyard, olive grove and orchard, an old farmhouse and hunting lodge host 7 finely restored apartments with a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic Tuscan style with terracotta floors and wooden furniture. The kitchens are equipped with all the necessary equipment to cook typical and genuine dishes using the products that characterize our region. Adjacent to the farmhouse are cultivated vegetables, fruits and herbs for the guests, but which are also used for cooking classes that we do in our company.
Next to the cottage, a small chapel, still consecrated and dedicated to S.Chiara, reminds us that once the Casa Sesta farm was a meeting place for the peasants. The local elders still remember that as children they went up to Sesta with their family during the wheat beating to celebrate mass in the small chapel.The 40 hectares of wood of the Casa Sesta farm that are part of the wildlife hunting reserve populated by hares, pheasants, squirrels and roe deer that you can admire in their natural habitat during your excursions. The Casa Sesta farmhouse offers its guests a swimming pool overlooking the Parish Church of Gropina and from which you can admire a magnificent panorama and a wonderful sunset.
