The church retains its original Romanesque structure with a simple rectangular room locked from the apse; the small complex includes also a rectory and the remains of a small Renaissance cloister.
The Church, restored during the 1980s, houses a beautiful triptych,(late 14th century) coming from the nearby church of towers and a wooden crucifix of exquisite workmanship of the Florentine school (late 15th century-early 16th century).
