Setteponti Road

The road Setteponti is a slow path hill of about 60 km (It extends from Ponte buriano until Reggello)  between olive trees, vineyards and well-ordered houses scattered in the Tuscan countryside where they are his treasures:

The Road is probably of Etruscan origin and  in the central Middle Ages enjoyed a particularly lucky period especially for the connections between Florence and emerging centers of its suburbs that were distributed to the slopes of Pratomagno.

The road, which was developing along the foothills of the Pratomagno, was punctuated by a significant alignment of plebeian churches:  San Pietro a Cascia, Santa Maria a Sco, San Gropina, San Giustino Valdarno; Together, these churches represent the main witness of Romanesque religious architecture in Valdarno.
